Our Purpose

It is our purpose to be a church where worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and service take place.

Our mission is for every believer to connect, grow, and serve.

Connect with others

Connecting believers together is of prime importance. The Bible reminds us as Christians that fellowship and connection within the Body of Christ is of great value. We desire for every person that attends Maranatha to connect with one another.

Our primary focus for connection is within our Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs). These fellowships provide small group community, prayer and encouragement.

Plugging into an ABF allows for great opportunity for connection, relationships, and encouragement. Please visit our Sunday morning ABF page to get more details.

In addition to ABFs, there are also gender-specific and age-specific opportunities for connection. Please visit our ministries pages for information regarding men’s, women’s, young adults, middle school, and high school ministries.

Grow in Him

We desire for every person to have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.  It is also our desire, then for each person to be experiencing growth in that relationship. We feel that the Word of God is a necessary ingredient for growth in the life of a believer. Therefore, we encourage all of our members to be studying God’s Word.

To help cultivate spiritual growth in our body, we offer a variety of Bible studies, mentoring, and services.

The preaching of the Word of God is of highest priority in each of our main services on Sunday mornings. We see this time as an opportunity for challenge and growth.

In addition, both men’s and women’s Bible studies are offered throughout the week.  Be sure to visit our men’s ministry or women’s ministry pages for information when these studies meet.

One-on-one mentoring and discipleship is also available to those who would desire it.

Serve your world

God’s desire is for his children to be actively serving Him.  We see this example set by Jesus himself, as he came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom.

As followers of Christ, we need to be actively serving Him, while also serving the world.

We strive to reach out to our church body, the community around us, and to the world through random acts of kindness and faithful service.  We pray we might reflect the depth and power of God’s unconditional love for us. Sometimes even a glimpse of that love can make all the difference in a person’s life.

Through short-term missions trips, local community projects, and day-to-day acts of kindness we can demonstrate a servant-like heart and attitude.
