9:15 ABFs

What is an ABF?

ABF stands for Adult Bible Fellowship. Sometimes the church can seem large and it’s hard to get to know other people. ABFs are a way to learn about God’s word together in a smaller setting; one small enough to make friends in. ABFs meets weekly on Sunday mornings throughout the church. There are many to choose from, so we are confident you can find one that’s right for you!

Room 400

Mike Trout

As an ABF we typically start with 10-15 minutes of social time. We then transition to announcements and “what’s happening” with our class/Maranatha. We pray and then spend the remainder of our time discovering what God has for us from His Word. We let scripture explain scripture. Occasionally there are topical studies like “Who were the major prophets?” but typically we study a book of the Bible. Participation and questions are encouraged.

Room 402

Mike Wise

Mike’s mission for the class is to love God and people! Everyone who steps into this class is family, and the desire is to make everyone feel a part of the family. This class is a balance of discussion, teaching the Bible, prayer, and time in community groups.

Room 501

Mark Kurcsak’s ABF for young families

For families with kids preschool to high school age. The focus is becoming godly families.

Room 502

John Wiseman’s Sermon-Based ABF

We are now doing sermon-based studies in our ABF. Each week there will be ample time for review, discussion, and application of the teachings and truths revealed in God’s Word based on the previous week’s sermon in the auditorium.

Sermon-based studies are designed to help us to better understand and then apply Sunday morning sermons in our daily lives.

Young Marrieds, Room 503

Dave Duma Jr.

This class is geared for young marrieds in their 20’s and 30’s.

Women’s ABF, Room 504

Cathy Hogan and Ashley Turner

We invite women of all ages to join us as we study God’s Word together. Our goal is to grow closer to God and to apply His truth daily. We support one another through service, prayer, and fellowship.

Find Your Place at Our Place, Room 505

Chris Humphrey

Our ABF consists of people who desire to carefully study God’s Word in a loving, caring, serving community. We are a multi-generational class and our members include grandparents and children (and literally all ages in between)! Our goal is to understand what God has to say as we learn from His Word verse by verse and we strive to apply those principles to our everyday life. We are a close community, but we always welcome new friends. We provide opportunities throughout the year for families to build relationships at planned activities. If you are looking for a place to study God’s Word in-depth while also building strong relationships, this ABF is for you. Join us this Sunday!

Generations, Room 508

Rob Stopp

Our goal is to stretch people spiritually, build community, and encourage one another to live for Jesus Christ. Understanding and applying the Word of God is the foundation of this ABF and for our lives.
