Weekly Announcements 8/3

Hey, Maranatha family! With everything that we have going on, we’re ready to celebrate and share what’s going on around the life of our church! Let’s jump in to this week’s announcements.

Serving at Maranatha

First, have you ever wondered how God might use you to make a difference? Every believer has been called and equipped to serve—both in the church and in the community. Jesus set the ultimate example of service in Matthew 20, and we’re invited to follow in His footsteps. If you’re ready to get involved, visit mbc95.org/serve to discover serving opportunities that fit your gifts and your schedule.

Loss of a Spouse

Next, we want to invite anyone who has lost a spouse to attend a special event called Loss of a Spouse. It’s a free, two-hour support group happening on August 30th. Whether you attend Maranatha or are part of the local community, you are welcome. This gathering is a safe space to process grief and find encouragement among others walking a similar journey. To learn more, visit mbc95.org/care.

Fall Bible Studies

And looking ahead, we’re excited for our Fall Bible Studies to kick off during the second week of September. Both Women’s and Men’s Ministries will be offering studies designed to help you grow deeper in your faith and connect in community. Whether you’re new to the Bible or have been studying it for years, there’s a place for you. You can learn more and sign up at mbc95.org/women and mbc95.org/men.
